From Plato to Dante, Shakespeare to Austen, Locke to Wilde to MLK, this is the conversation that has stood the test of time, asking what it means to be human.

is for

Resources for Schools

Hello, I’m

your host

Holly

I didn't delve into the great books until my mid-thirties. Unsurprisingly, my high school English anthology, with its minimal excerpts and mind-numbing comprehension questions, left me feeling apathetic toward reading. Additionally, I managed to bypass literature coursework in college thanks to those AP exams. Now, I find myself on a journey to rekindle my own education, and I extend an invitation for you to join me.

While I'm no expert, I aspire to serve as your guide, helping to navigate the great conversation and uncovering its significance in our lives by talking with those who know these stories well. This journey is not only for your personal enrichment but also to foster meaningful discussions within the life of your family.

Boring stuff: I’ve been thinking about education for 25 years, working in public, charter, Christian, classical Christian, and home school settings. I have a BA and MA in education from Biola University, and am working on a MA in classical Christian leadership from Gordon College. Captivated by the good, the true, and the beautiful, I seek to help students, families, and schools flourish.. I podcast for kids over at the Good Way Podcast.
